New York where do I start….
It’s safe to say this city has stolen my heart.
Exploring in the spring was great because the views at sunset were just perfect. I really felt like it was how it looks in the pictures, you know those postcards you get but then when you get to a place it looks nothing like it. Well this didn’t disappoint, it looked just like the postcards! The highlight for me was Top Of The Rock. The entire city can be seen from here. I did the Empire State Building on my last trip and was kind of disappointed so when I saw the view from here I was blown away.
New York Food
Being a vegetarian I found it really hard in the US. I found myself living off Pizza, By Chloe was the game changer. Vegan fast food resteraunt, surprisingly healthy and delicious. I had a Chilli ‘ hot dog’ with fries and coconut Water in a fresh coconut which just made me so happy! There is always one in London which I have yet to venture to but I would 100% recommend trying it. I am dying to go back.
If you have ever seen the film 27 dresses then you will reconsise this next place….
The Lob Boathouse
If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the perfect place to do it. This beautiful lake stretches out over and the New York skyline can be seen whilst taking a row boat ride.
We then had cocktails and food whilst looking over the view of the lake.
Untill next time NYC
